You’re not just creating your own happiness, you’re showing other people it’s possible.

“Hit the reset button. Whatever happened yesterday, forget about it. Get a new perspective. Today is a new day. Fresh start, begins now.” -Germany Kent

“The effect you have on others is the most valuable currency there is.”

“You’re not just creating you’re own happiness, you’re showing other people it’s possible.”

“There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when it’s convenient. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.”

“You’re only here for a short visit. Don’t hurry, don’t worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.”- Walter Hagen

“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” – Michael Jordan

“You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over.”- Richard Branson

When making any decision always ask yourself, “will it bring me happiness?” Even if it means sacrificing some pleasure. Pleasure in generally only short term, happiness is long term.

“Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better take things as they come along with patience and equanimity.” Carl Jung

“Seize the time… Live now! Make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again.” Jean-Luc Picard

“We make our lives so heavy, we have these incredibly heady burdens we carry like rocks in a bag, we don’t realise the lightness of just letting it go. It’s not an external change, it’s an internal change, it’s a change from holding on very tightly to holding on very lightly.”

We tend to select one or two small problems in our life, emphasise them, and blow them out of proportion. Then we think, “I can’t be happy” and this thought itself prevents us from enjoying our life and making it meaningful.

“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.” Buddha

“We can trudge through mental quicksand, feeling bad and wishing we didn’t; or we can realise that stewing isn’t even slightly productive, and then consciously choose to let go and be free.” Lori Deschene

You don’t have to buy from anyone, work at any job or participate in any given relationship. No matter how restrictive things may seem you and you alone can choose. Choice is the only true freedom we have in life and the most important choice is who we will be today.

What you do today is important, because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. Make a point to respect your time because it is the only thing given for free.

Life is not always going to be rainbows and blue skies all the time, but we can be strong enough and smart enough to stop letting the occasional shower affect the entire forecast of our lives.

Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it. M. Scott Peck

“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”- Wayne Dyer

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” – Maya Angelou

“To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it!” – Charlie Chaplin

“Goodness is about character – integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity, moral courage, and the like. More than anything else, it is about how we treat other people.” – Dennis Prager

“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.” – Mahatma Gandhi

“We need to introduce a little balance into your life. Part of this balance means not missing out on some of the marvels of life around you, the fun, some excitement, or other challenges in life.” – Catherine Pulsifer
